About Me...

My name is Nicholas Clark and I have been working in the energy efficiency and sustainability industry since 2004. Prior to that I worked in leisure and hospitality management for 10 years. I currently work for a social housing provider in Scotland, managing their portfolio of renewable energy and regeneration projects and leading on sustainable business development.

My time in sustainability has coincided with the emergence of the green agenda in to the mainstream - the long overdue recognition that we need to act on climate change and carbon emissions now and start living in more sustainable ways.

During my career I have been fortunate to work on projects with a large number of leading organisations in a hugely varied number of industries, all dealing with the challenges of integrating energy and resource efficiency in to their current business operations whilst latterly having to deal with the impact of the global recession.

I have a passion for effective carbon management and believe strongly that the combination of relevant technology and effective education can help mitigate the impacts of climate change.

My C.V.
I possess a professional certificate in Sustainable Energy from Stanford University, a degree and a masters. My professional qualifications include being an EMS ISO14001 Internal Auditor (IEMA Certified), an NHER Site Assessor and a City and Guilds Energy Advisor. I also possess an HCA Sustainable Communities Certificate and a CIM Marketing certificate.
Away from work I enjoy baseball, running, working out, computing, home cinema and spending as much time with my wife and two boys as possible.

My full curriculum vitae is available upon request. Please contact me for further details.
